The Race
It’s Lisbon. The Half Marathon. You’re on the 25 de Abril Bridge with 35,000 other runners. The sun comes up, you can see the Tagus River. What more is there to say?
It’s a fast course, mostly flat after the bridge descent. You’ll run along the river, under manueline architecture, past the Praca do Comercio. This race puts on a show for the city, and you’re in it. Finish line at the Jerónimos Monastery. That’s your morning.
Afterwards, enjoy what Lisbon has to offer. Rest your legs, take a tram, or explore the Alfama district.

Sign up through the event's official website. Registration usually opens several months in advance, so keep an eye on their announcements. Secure your spot early as this race fills up quickly due to its popularity.
